Zusätzliche Informationen

Runhui Zhang started his undergraduate studies at Zhejiang University, China in 2016. During this period, he received basic training of scientific research in Prof. Liwu Fan’s lab, focusing on the experiment and modeling of phase change material’s close-contact melting process. In June 2020, Runhui successfully obtained his bachelor’s degree. His thesis topic was the research on the motion and gasification behaviors of non-spherical biomass particles in an entrained-flow reactor. Subsequently, Runhui joined Prof. Xiaoke Ku’s group and continued to pursue his Master’s degree at Zhejiang University. His research topic was to numerically study the fluidization and thermochemical conversion process of non-spherical biomass particles. He defended his Master’s degree in March 2023. In August 2023, Runhui joined Prof. Christoph Müller's research group at ETH Zürich, Switzerland as a PhD student. His current research topics are the modeling of flexible particles and the granular segregation phenomena in a rotating drum.
