I conduct model order reduction for nonlinear structural mechanics and coupled problems, with special emphasis on light-weight structures, thermo-elastic, thermo-aero-elastic systems, flexible multibody systems and, more recently, to problems featuring contact and friction.

My research focuses on model order reduction of nonlinear systems. I am currently focusing on geometrically nonlinear structural dynamics, flexible multibody systems, and aeroelastic systems.
