Additional information
Emiliano joined the EPSE lab (Prof. A. Bardow) in May 2023 as Senior Scientist. He works in the experimental team, whose main aim is to advance the field of thermodynamic properties measurement. We characterize the molecules and working media needed to make a reality of the many chemical and energy processes envisioned to make our future sustainable such as, e.g., high-T heat pumps and novel plastic recycling routes.
Emiliano joined ETH Zurich in May 2016 as Marie S. Curie postdoctoral research fellow hosted by the PREC lab (Prof. A. Steinfeld), working on the conversion and storage of highly concentrated solar energy for high-T applications such as, e.g., the decarbonization of industrial processes like cement manufacturing.
Emiliano holds a MSc in Energy Engineering from the Politechnic of Milan (Italy) and a PhD in Energy from TU Delft (The Netherlands).
