Dr. Andrea Bellè received his Ph.D. in complex systems engineering in 2022 from the University of Paris-Saclay, with a thesis on the optimization of the resilience of interdependent critical infrastructures. He also holds a double M.S. in nuclear engineering from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology and the University of Paris-Saclay, obtained in 2019, and a B.S. in energy engineering from the University of Padua, obtained in 2017.
Since January 2024, he is a postdoctoral researcher within the Research Center for Energy Networks (Forschungsstelle Energienetze - FEN). Currently, he works on the RESAIL project, with the main goal of helping the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) identifying suitable strategies to contribute to the Swiss energy transition and serve its own energy demand in an economic and reliable way.
Prior to this role, he was a research engineer within the Thales Group, where he participated in various internal and European research projects for the defence and space sector.
