Jan-Frederic Laub

Jan obtained a Master's degree in business administration and engineering from RWTH Aachen University, focusing of process engineering and operations research. During his studies, he worked as a student assistant on hierarchical optimization methods for experimental design and thermodynamics. He completed his degree with a thesis on automated modeling methods for digital twins of chemical systems at the University of Cambridge. In 2025, Jan joined the Energy and Process Systems Engineering Group as a doctoral student.
