Membrane specialist joins D-MAVT
On 1 January 2026, Anthony Straub joined the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering (D-MAVT) as Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Membrane and Interfacial Science. The 35-year-old develops sustainable separation processes for industrial applications such as water desalination and carbon capture. Straub also co-founded a start-up that brings these technologies to real-world use.
