Master’s Graduation Ceremony 2024
370 D-MAVT graduates celebrated their Master graduation on 5 April 2024 on the ETH Hönggerberg campus. The department, headed by Patrick Jenny, Laura De Lorenzis, and André Bardow, congratulated the graduates in a festive ceremony in the HPH building.
On 5 April, this year's D-MAVT Master's Graduation Ceremony took place on the ETH Hönggerberg campus with a record number of participants. 370 graduates of the five Master's degree programs "Mechanical Engineering", "Process Engineering", "Micro and Nanosystems", "Nuclear Engineering" and "Robotics, Systems and Control" celebrated their graduation with their guests and professors.
The official part of the ceremony included a speech by the Head of Department Patrick Jenny, a guest speech by Barbara Frei, Vice President of Schneider Electric Industrial Automation and member of the Executive Committee, and speeches by the two graduate representatives Nathalie Nick and Filippo Spinelli. Laura De Lorenzis and Maddalena Velonà honored 14 ETH Medal or Willi Studer Prize winners for their outstanding achievements. After the official part, the crowd celebrated, cheered and took photos for the family album during the apero. We wish the graduates all the best for the future!
A big thank you goes out to the 70 helpers from SV Catering, the ETH Big Band Sextet, event technicians, facility services, ticketing staff and organization as well as everybody else who helped make this event happen.
