Ivo Leibacher and Peter Reichert, Doctoral students in Prof. Jürg Dual’s group, won the "2014 ASME Swiss Section Young Engineer Award" and the "Best Poster Award" at the MFHS 2014.
Klaus Tschira award for achievements in public understanding of science 2014

Sebastian Trimpe, former doctoral student of Prof. Raffaello D'Andrea and currently Research Scientist at the Autonomous Motion Department of the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Tübingen, Germany, has been awarded the "Klaus Tschira award for achievements in public understanding of science".

IFAC Mechatronics Paper Prize 2011-2013

The paper "The Distributed Flight Array" by Dr. Raymond Oung and Prof. Raffaello D’Andrea published in the Mechatronics Journal (Vol. 21, No. 6, pp. 908-917, September 2011), was selected as one of three best papers for the IFAC Mechatronics Paper Prize for 2011-2013.
