World`s first plant to capture CO2 from air
Climeworks makes headlines with the opening of the world's first commercial plant for capturing carbon dioxide directly from the air. The company is a spin-off from the lab of Aldo Steinfeld, Professor for Renewable Energy Carriers at D-MAVT. The gas is being used to help grow vegetables in a greenhouse.
