Best Paper Award for Patrick Eser
Patrick Eser, doctoral student at the Laboratory for Energy Conversion at ETH Zurich, received a Best Paper Award at the IEEE Power and Energy Society General Meeting in Chicago.

He was awarded the prize for his work on "Optimal RES portfolio to achieve 45% renewable electricity in central Europe by 2030" in July in Chicago. Miriam P. Sanders, Vice President of Technical Activities for the IEEE Power and Energy Society, presented the award. The publication was co-authored by Reza Abhari, ETH Professor of Energy Engineering, and Dr. Ndaona Chokani from the Institute of Energy Technology.
