Hilti Prize 2021
Paolo Gabrielli, former doctoral student at the Separation Process Laboratory of Professor Marco Mazzotti at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering, receives the Hilti Prize 2021.
Gabrielli is honored for his doctoral thesis “Optimal Design of Multi-Energy Systems: From Technology Modeling to System Optimization” and receives a prize money of CHF 5000. The certificate will be presented at the ETH Day on 20 November 2021. The prize, sponsored by Hilti AG, rewards innovative research that combines science with practical application in an exceptional manner.
After completing his doctoral studies, Paolo Gabrielli has continued his scientific career at the Laboratory of Reliability and Risk Engineering of Professor Giovanni Sansavini. He also combines research with practice through his collaboration with South Pole, a Swiss carbon finance consultancy.
