The prize is awarded by the Energy Globe Foundation, which honors successful sustainable projects in various categories. Its aim is to demonstrate that innovative solutions are already available for most of our environmental problems. The Globe World Award event is the highlight of the year, where the best projects are presented to a global audience. Each year, projects from over 180 countries are submitted. This year’s award ceremony took place on 8 November 2021 at the Climate Summit COP26 in Glasgow.
