Stanley Corrsin Award for George Haller
George Haller, Professor at the Institute for Mechanical Systems at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering of ETH Zurich, received the Stanley Corrsin Award 2023 by the American Physical Society (APS).
George Haller’s research centers around predictive understanding and mathematical underpinnings of the nonlinear dynamics of fluid flows and Lagrangian coherent structures, and novel data-driven approaches to reduced order modeling.
The award was presented at the 76th Annual Meeting of the APS Division of Fluid Dynamics in Washington. The award recognizes Haller’s particularly influential contribution to fundamental fluid dynamics.
