Roland Siegwart achieves top ranking

Roland Siegwart receives double recognition. The ETH Professor of Autonomous Systems secured the 1st place in Switzerland and the 10th place worldwide in the 2024 Ranking of Best Scientists in the field of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering by the academic platform research.com.

In the Ranking of Best Scientists in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Roland Siegwart also claimed top positions. He achieved the 29th place globally and the 1st place in Switzerland. As a result, Research.com awarded him both the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Leader Award for 2024 and the Electronics and Electrical Engineering Leader Award for 2024.

The ranking is based on the D-index (Discipline H-index) metric, which exclusively considers papers and citation values within the examined discipline. It only includes leading scientists with a D-index of at least 30 for academic publications.
