Formula Student Electric
Project
In the "Formula Student Electric" focus project, students from the Academic Motorsport Association Zurich (AMZ) take on the challenge of designing a fully electric race car from scratch. They develop, optimize, and assemble the powertrain, aerodynamics, and electrical systems. The goal is to further enhance the performance of electric race cars. The car is developed in a four-month design phase and then assembled. With the prototype, the team participates in the annual "Formula Student" competition, where student teams from across Europe demonstrate their engineering know-how.
