"Hey, I'm Alfred, your intelligent cobot and reliable partner in everyday life!" This could be the introduction of the assistive robot being developed in the "aidara" focus project to its user. Students are combining AI-based speech and image recognition algorithms so that the robot assistant can understand tasks independently and identify objects. The robot arm is intended to act as a "third hand," fetching items for the user upon command. In addition to voice control, ensuring safety in human-robot interaction is an important aspect of the project.
