From D-MAVT into the world
Several doctoral students and researchers at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering (D-MAVT) have been appointed assistant professors at other universities worldwide.
Franziska Ullrich and Daniel Ahmed, both researchers in Professor Bradley Nelson's Multi-Scale Robotics Lab (MSRL), will take on professorships at universities in Germany. Franziska Ullrich is now working at the external page Intelligent Process Automation and Robotics Research Laboratory of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Daniel Ahmed will take up his position as assistant professor at the TU Munich in the fall semester 2019.
Two PhD students at the Laboratory for Thermodynamics in Emerging Technologies of Professor Dimos Poulikakos, Chander Sekhar Sharma and Julia Tagliabue, have also been appointed assistant professors. Chander Sekhar Sharma will transfer to the external page Indian Institute of Technology Ropar in India, while Julia Tagliabue will be on the faculty at the external page Institute of Mechanical Engineering (IGM) of the EPFL in Lausanne.
