Inside the Robotic Systems Lab

Robots, drones, 4D print objects or micro- and nanoparticles - the high school students awaited a varied program at this day organized by LIMES, the Women's Commission of the Academic Mechanical and Electrical Engineer Association.

Opening the day were various lectures. Carmen Koch described her studies at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and her professional experience as a Technical Sales Engineer. Student Seraina Wurster talked about her experiences in the field of electrical engineering. Leona Guo then presented the study program at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering before Gabriela Hug, Professor of Electric Power Systems, spoke about her work and career.

The high school students were also able to gain hands-on experience with the research topics of the two departments during numerous laboratory visits, including the Robotic Systems Lab and the High-Voltage Laboratory.
