ETH Diversity Award for Elizabeth Tilley
Elizabeth Tilley, Professor of Global Health Engineering at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering, received the ETH Diversity Award. The award was presented to her for her commitment to diversity and inclusion at ETH Zurich.
The award was established by AVETH (the academic association for the scientific staff at ETH Zurich) and ETH Diversity. It is given in two categories: Organizations that are advocating for underrepresented groups and individuals who are making the case for greater diversity.
In addition to Tilley, LIMES (Ladies In Mechanical and Electrical Studies), the female student committee of the D-MAVT student organization, was also honored during the award ceremony on 8 June 2022. They came in third place in the organizations category.
