Dandelion Award for Ahmed
Professor Daniel Ahmed, head of the Acoustic Robotics for Life Sciences and Healthcare Group at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering, has been awarded the Dandelion Award for his outstanding efforts to promote entrepreneurship at ETH Zurich and beyond.
The Dandelion Award is presented once a year to one professor of each of the 16 departments of ETH Zurich. All ETH students, doctoral and postdoctoral students may submit nominations. The jury consists of representatives from key student bodies such as the Student Project House (SPH), ETH Juniors, the Academic Association of Scientific Staff at ETH Zurich (AVETH), and the ETH Entrepreneur Club. The award ceremony took place on Friday, 13 October 2023, at the StageOne Event & Convention Hall Zurich.
