I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Fluid Dynamics within the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering at ETH Zurich. Since joining Prof. Filippo Coletti’s group, my research has centered around multiphase flows in quasi-2D turbulence.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Chemical & Biological Engineering from Seoul National University in South Korea, with a minor in economics. Subsequently, I completed my PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Minnesota under the supervision of Prof. Xiang Cheng and Prof. Kevin D. Dorfman. During my doctoral studies, I focused on researching the rheology and dynamics of entangled polymer solutions undergoing shear-banding.
